Description
What is GW0742?
GW0742 is a compound with properties similar to those of Cardarine (GW-501516): it is a drug that acts as a PPARδ modulator. GW0742 activates AMP-activated protein kinase and stimulates glucose uptake in skeletal muscle tissue.
Benefits of GW0742
- May provide extreme increases in endurance and recovery. GW0742 produces drastic improvements in VO2 max.
- Rapid and effective fat loss. Another key feature of GW0742 is that it is non-catabolic, meaning it may allow users to lose fat without sacrificing muscle.
- GW0742 has been shown to reverse metabolic abnormalities in obese men with pre-diabetic metabolic syndrome, likely by stimulating fatty acid oxidation.
- Can be combined with SARMs such as Ostarine or LGD-4033.
- General feeling of well-being.
GW0742 vs Cardarine
Structurally, GW0742 and Cardarine are very similar, with only a one-atom difference in their molecular composition.
Both compounds were developed by GlaxoSmithKline. The company has stated that GW0742 is significantly more powerful in terms of fat-burning and enhancing cardiovascular performance compared to Cardarine.
Our view is that GW0742 is a superior compound, but it has the downside of not being as thoroughly studied as Cardarine. Therefore, Cardarine has a better-established safety profile.
