Description
What is Thymosin Alpha 1 (Tα1)?
Thymosin Alpha 1 (Tα1) is a synthetic polypeptide analog of thymosin, a natural protein produced by the thymus gland. The thymus is responsible for generating T cells, which play a crucial role in the proper functioning of the immune system. As we age, our bodies produce less thymosin, increasing the risk of infections, autoimmune diseases, and inflammation.
Thymosin Alpha 1 has been approved in 37 countries for the treatment of hepatitis and cancer. In clinical trials, it has been used to support immune function either as a monotherapy or in combination with standard medications. It holds strong therapeutic potential for individuals looking to strengthen their immune system or who suffer from infections or autoimmune conditions.
